Posted: 02/12/2026 Industry: Engineering Job Number: 200495 Pay Rate: $44 / hour Job Description Intermediate Piping Designer (Hybrid – Multiple Locations) Pay: $44.00- $52.00 per hour DOE Full-Time | Hybrid (2 Days/Week In Office) We are seeking an Intermediate Piping Designer to support industrial and advanced manufacturing facility projects. In this role, you’ll develop piping layouts and 3D models while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams. This is an excellent opportunity to continue building technical expertise in a fast-paced project environment. Preferred Locations: Portland, OR | Phoenix, AZ | Pittsburgh, PA | Boise, ID (Other approved office locations may be considered.) Key Responsibilities: Develop piping layouts and perform 3D routing using AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, or CADWorx. Apply piping fundamentals including routing logic, size selection, and equipment layout. Interpret piping specifications and incorporate vendor data into models. Support drawing production and integrate redlines/markups. Coordinate with multi-discipline and global workshare teams. Maintain quality and accuracy across design deliverables. Required Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Design Technology or related field (or equivalent experience). 2–4 years of piping design experience in industrial or manufacturing environments. Working knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, or CADWorx. Understanding of piping fundamentals and equipment layout. Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or similar. Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, semiconductor, or advanced manufacturing facilities.
