Summary:

Strong expertise in manual and automated testing, along with proficiency in tools like Selenium, UFT, and SQL, is essential.

Position Info:

  • Title: Intermediate Tester
  • Client: Peraton
  • Duration: 10 Months
  • Location: Falls Church, VA 22042
  • Work Mode: Remote

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and test data to validate business requirements.
  • Analyze test results, document findings, and provide recommendations supported by evidence.
  • Identify and document defects, working with developers and end-users to resolve issues.
  • Perform functional duties independently and manage efforts of assigned staff as needed.
  • Train and mentor junior team members in testing methodologies.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in software development or quality assurance, including writing and executing test scripts.
  • Education: Preferred degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proficiency with manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, UFT, and ALM.
  • Strong skills in SQL and basic UNIX; familiarity with API testing.
  • Knowledge of logistics systems and change/configuration management tools (e.g., VersionOne, ServiceNow).
  • Experience authoring quality assurance documentation, including test plans, test cases, and reports.
  • Ability to obtain Postal clearance.
  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
