Internship Overview
We are seeking an energetic, Engineer that will be responsible for supporting the department's development and execution of control systems for power generation and propulsion control systems for power driven by prime movers (steam/gas/hydro turbines and diesel/ gas engines).
This is a six-month duration.
A main focus of the engineering group is the retrofit and conversion of control systems to Woodward programmable controls and mechanical adaptations. You will be expected to help the engineering group meet their goals, at the same time take an active role in learning and training to develop the necessary knowledge and experience for you to grow into a good sound engineer. Key Responsibilities:
Program Structure:
- The program runs concurrently with university semesters (Spring, Summer, Fall), ensuring that students can continue their degree progress.
- Flexible scheduling options are available to accommodate academic commitments while maintaining a focus on practical experience and development.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for learning and innovation.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Prior internship or project experience in a related field is a plus but not required.
