About the Role

MarketStreet Lynnfield is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our team for the fall/winter season. This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in property management, marketing, and operations at one of the region’s premier retail and lifestyle destinations.

As an intern, you’ll work closely with both the General Manager and Marketing Manager, supporting day-to-day operations and assisting with key initiatives—including the launch of an exciting new Loyalty Program and the opening of our 13th season at The Rink.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support execution of seasonal events and promotions
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of The Rink
  • Help implement and promote the new Loyalty Program platform
  • Create marketing materials using Canva
  • Support website updates and digital content coordination
  • Contribute to planning meetings and recap documentation
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the management team
  • Interact with tenants, vendors, and guests to ensure a seamless experience on property

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiar with Canva (for graphic design and promotional materials)
  • Comfortable with basic website interfaces (not required, but a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service mindset and interest in community-building
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds (for event setup and breakdown)
  • Reliable transportation to and from the property
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook) is a plus

The expected pay range for this position is $20-$24 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
