Title: Internal Communication Specialist

Location: Steedman, MO

Duration: 4/20/2026 – 12/31/2026 (Possible Extension/Conversion)

Pay Rate: 28-34/hr

Schedule: Onsite | 40 hrs/week | Flexible start time (5:30 AM – 7:30 AM)

About the Position

The Communications Consultant provides graphic design expertise and visual communication support to develop and execute effective communication plans for employees, customers, and stakeholders. This role partners closely with leadership and supports internal communications initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with leadership to support communication needs

Assist in executing strategic communication plans

Create and edit content for print and digital channels

Develop visual assets including:

Posters

Newsletters

Logos

PowerPoint presentations

Digital signage

Support video production and editing projects

Manage and publish content via SharePoint

Ensure consistent messaging aligned with brand standards

Collaborate with corporate communications teams

Support internal communications for ~700 employees

Participate in emergency response duties as required

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or related field

3+ years of communications and creative content experience

Experience with:

Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, InDesign, Photoshop)

Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)

Video production and editing

Strong visual storytelling and content creation skills

Experience with newsletters and internal communications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in utilities or heavy industry

Experience with Canva and animation tools

Strong portfolio showcasing design and video work
