If you’re located within 50 miles of Pittsburgh (PIT), you’ll have the flexibility to work hybrid or remote depending on experience and performance.

Requirements
Manage complete international shipments — air, ocean, import, and export — from booking to final delivery.
Quote directly to customers, ensuring accurate pricing and margin control; procure costs from carriers and agents at a transactional level.
Prepare and review all shipment documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, AES filings, bills of lading, etc.).
Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and overseas partners to ensure timely pickups, clearances, and deliveries.
Track shipments proactively and provide timely updates to clients.
Handle exceptions, delays, and problem resolution with professionalism and urgency.
Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and international trade regulations.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of international freight forwarding experience handling both air and ocean operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in quoting, pricing, and cost procurement.
- Thorough understanding of Incoterms, international documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent multitasking, time management, and customer service skills.
- Experience with CargoWise, Magaya, or similar TMS preferred.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience coordinating multi-modal freight (air, ocean, truck, rail).
- Familiarity with global trade compliance and customs regulations.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors and clients alike.
Location & Remote Policy:
Based in Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
Candidates within 50 miles of the PIT market may work hybrid or fully remote depending on performance and operational needs.
