A leading Fairfield County–based organization is seeking an International Tax Manager to join its high-performing finance team. This is a high-impact, highly visible position that partners across the business and plays a key role in both technical execution and strategic tax planning.

Title: International Tax Manager

Location: Fairfield County, CT (Hybrid)

Compensation: $130,000 – $170,000 + Bonus


Key responsibilities:

  • Lead international tax compliance and oversee non-U.S. components of the U.S. tax provision
  • Review Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, along with GILTI, Subpart F, and FTC calculations
  • Support quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision (international components)
  • Partner on strategic tax planning, including M&A integration and foreign tax credit optimization
  • Collaborate closely with Transfer Pricing on intercompany planning and documentation
  • Drive process improvement and automation (OneSource optimization, workflow integration)
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across Finance, Legal, Treasury, and HR
  • Manage and develop a small team


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of international tax experience (Big 4 and/or industry)
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax (GILTI, Subpart F, FTC, TCJA)
  • Experience with ASC 740 and multinational ETR modeling
  • CPA preferred; MST a plus
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and leverage technology
  • Strong project management and communication skills
