Job Title: InterSystems Cach /MUMPS Developer

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using InterSystems Cach and MUMPS.
• Optimize and troubleshoot MUMPS-based database queries and application logic.
• Work with healthcare systems such as VistA, Epic, or other EHR platforms.
• Develop, modify, and enhance Cach ObjectScript and MUMPS routines.
• Support and maintain existing healthcare and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, clinicians, and IT staff, to improve system functionality.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and HL7 standards.
• Develop and maintain interfaces and integration solutions between Cach /MUMPS applications and other systems.
• Assist in migrating legacy MUMPS applications to modern platforms.
• Provide technical documentation, training, and support to users and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience in MUMPS and InterSystems Cach development.
• Proficiency in Cach ObjectScript, MUMPS, and database management.
• Experience with EHR systems such as VistA, Epic, or Meditech is a plus.
• Strong understanding of database architecture, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Experience HL7 in, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability standards.
• Experience with web services, APIs, and system integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• InterSystems Cach Certification (HealthShare, Ensemble, or IRIS).
• Experience in modernizing MUMPS applications or migrating to new platforms.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting.f a cross-functional team.
• Cerner Certification in relevant modules.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
• Required Security clearance.
