Job Description Overview Goldman Sachs is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a strategic Legal Entity De-Registration and Broker Dealer Optimization initiative. This role will focus on simplifying the firm's global legal entity footprint by de-registering broker dealer entities in select jurisdictions and transitioning business activities from local entities to a centralized global entity structure. The Project Manager will work closely with Legal, Compliance, Controllers, Operations, Trading, and Technology teams to ensure regulatory requirements are met while delivering capital efficiencies and operational improvements across multiple markets, particularly within APAC. Key Responsibilities Lead a global legal entity rationalization and broker dealer de-registration program across multiple jurisdictions. Coordinate efforts to transition business activities and personnel from local entities to global entities while maintaining regulatory compliance. Partner with Legal, Compliance, Controllers, Operations, and Trading teams to assess impacts and implement required changes. Work directly with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders to manage account closures, suspension notifications, and entity deregistration activities. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, governance structures, and status reporting. Manage project dependencies across 8-10 workstreams and ensure alignment among stakeholders. Facilitate monthly Steering Committee meetings with Managing Directors and senior leadership. Lead bi-weekly working group meetings to review project progress, risks, issues, and key decisions. Create and present decision papers, issue logs, risk logs, and problem statements for senior management review. Coordinate with Engineering and Technology teams to identify and manage system-related dependencies. Ensure process documentation, operating procedures, and end-to-end project artifacts remain current throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee and mentor two junior team members supporting the program.
