Job Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a company in Mendota, IL seeking an Inventory Analyst & Coordinator. This position is responsible for analyzing, coordinating, and continuously improving all inventory-related activities. The role supports inventory accuracy, reporting, and execution of inventory transactions within the ERP system while working closely with operations, supply chain, and accounting teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and coordinate all inventory-related activities
- Perform cycle counts and wall-to-wall inventories
- Organize and coordinate employees during physical inventory counts
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports at the operations level
- Execute inventory transactions and maintain data within the ERP system
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for inventory processes
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and accounting teams to ensure inventory accuracy
Please note: Candidates must be willing to work in a team setting, have great communication skills (written and verbal), and must be able to pass a background check.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operations or inventory management
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across departments
