Job Title: Inventory Control Analyst Location: Luling, TX ( onsite ) About X-Bow Systems: X-Bow Systems is a cutting-edge aerospace technology company revolutionizing the defense, government and space industries. We are expanding our Supply Chain team and seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Control Analyst to join our team and help optimize our inventory management processes across multiple sites. The Inventory Control Analyst will be the primary touch point for inventory tracking and stock movements and will report to the Logistics Manager. If you have expertise in supply storage and distribution, managing material activities and systems and ensuring accurate inventory control, we encourage you to apply! Key Responsibilities Inventory Management: Perform regular inventories and ensure timely correction of discrepancies. Inspect and evaluate inventory management activities to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Conduct shelf-life inspections of stock and determine the condition of property received. Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records. System Management And Data Analysis Process information retrievals using ERP/WMS databases. Recommend and implement new technologies to improve inventory tracking and control. Ensure data integrity within inventory systems. Monitor system processing and correct processing errors. Coordination And Expertise Provide subject matter expertise to multiple departments and across sites for proper accounting and control of specified items. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory management. Set and monitor goals for inventory turnover, accuracy and availability. Coordinate with logistics teams to align inventory levels with shipping schedules. Collaborate with finance department on inventory valuation and reporting. Training & Support Provide training to other staff members on inventory control procedures and best practices. Offer support and guidance to team members on inventory-related issues. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in inventory management. Qualifications Education and Experience: Associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory control, material management or supply chain operations. Technical Skills Proficiency in inventory database management and data retrieval. Knowledge of logistics principles and interactions (material management, transportation, procurement, etc.). Understanding of storage methods, warehouse control and material handling techniques. Experience managing inventory control operations in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Risk Management & Problem-Solving Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to identify and implement process improvements. Identify potential risks in the inventory management process.
