Position Physical Location Options Terrell, TX Regional Distribution Center Position Summary The Inventory Control Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and reporting on inventory across all WMS sites to ensure accuracy and stability of the ERP data. Utilizing reports, cycle counters, distribution staff, and themselves to meet KPIs and standards for J&J facilities. This could include site visits, training, and developing better practices and habits of staff to uphold J&J standards. The role falls under the operations department as an internal auditor for J&J. Essential Functions Reporting on daily numbers for WMS sites Cycle counts Bad data (LPNs / lots / item codes / etc.) Report bad item data or data updates to RPM team Cycle Counts Issuing to site counters, ensure meeting standard to reach KPI goals for the quarter Going to count / verify as needed at the sites (travel to be discussed as needed) Reviewing for accuracy and reconciling issues Reclassing inventory as needed for correction at sites Addressing common mistakes and grow policy to further accuracy Training Teaching policy and process to new employees on best practices Re‑training as needed Acquisitions / Implementations – Help train and review new sites coming onto JDE Audits / YEI Oversite Build game plan for audits to address possible issues and ensure smooth and accurate completion of audits Review and recount as necessary Audits of our 3PL groups to be arranged with multiple team members to assess data coming from them/EDI for validation Competencies Excellent organization and time management skills. Must be a self‑starter and be able to accomplish a versatile and evolving workload. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Innovative, problem solver, flexible, and able to juggle multiple priorities. Strong interpersonal skills; must work well with management, peers, contractors and employees. Must be able to work independently under general direction, have a high degree of attention to detail, and be trusted to enable on‑time delivery of results for multiple projects within a dynamic work environment. Proficiency with MS Office Suite. Ability to utilize a variety of software programs to monitor, update, and produce work products by applying knowledge of computer literacy. JDE/Oracle a plus.
