Position: Inventory Control Coordinator

Summary:
  • This role supports laboratory and customer-site operations by managing inventory, performing stockroom and laboratory services, and ensuring timely replenishment and delivery of materials.
  • The position requires strong customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while following standard operating procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site program replenishments and disbursements
  • Execute stockroom duties including receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, and related functions
  • Provide laboratory services such as glassware processing, biological waste processing, and chemical inventory receipt and reconciliation
  • Deliver direct shipment orders to end users
  • Access and follow standard operating procedures using computer systems
  • Proactively communicate customer concerns or potential issues to supervisors
  • Address customer concerns within established resolution timeframes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Required Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and iPhone usage
  • Ability to operate handheld scanners and enter data into various systems
  • Analytical skills to reconcile inventory and reports
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently at customer locations
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull 30 40 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Reliable transportation
