Duties Special requirements: Must become Forklift Qualified, which requires an associate to successfully pass a Written Qualification Test and an observed Practical Test in whatever type of forklift(s) they will be using on the job. Qualification for Forklift operation is good for two years. Successful completion allows the associate to assume the position immediately. Forklift Qualification expires after two years and Re-Qualification must take place. Hand Tools Used: No hand tools used. Machines and Equipment Involved: Depending on operation, will use any or all of the types of forklifts company operates. Skills Mechanical aptitude, basic mathematical skills, ability to learn to read and understand SFA transmittals and drawings, basic computer skills and the ability to learn to use company Enterprise Software as appropriate. Candidate must be physically able to turn repetitively and lift up to 50 lbs. Maintain regular attendance and have the ability to work in a team environment.
