8:00am-4:30pm
Responsible for assisting the shift supervisor in managing the warehouse associates and workload. Performs all job duties of the department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES, include the following.
- Effectively perform all job duties of department meeting all set goals and standards
- Informs supervisor of any unsafe or hazardous working conditions
- Reassign associates to different job tasks as needed
- Assists in performing physical inventories and proper stock locations
- Assists in training new hires
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Assist in maintaining the security for the warehouse
- Conduct work assignments in a manner which promotes safety
- Assists associates in training of proper methods and techniques to enhance individuals’ productivity and accuracy
- Perform job duties according to set goals and metrics
- May assist in reporting and investigating all work-related injuries
- Other duties may be assigned to accomplish company or department objectives.

Education & Experience
- 2+ years of related experience as a lead in a warehouse or distribution center environment
- High School diploma
Other Skills and Abilities
- Must be able to meet departmental expectations to effectively drive results
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office products)
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Great people and communication skills.
- Ability to use computer software to generate reports as needed
- Ability to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Operating in a collaborative environment
- Certified forklift driver preferred
