Inventory Control Supervisor Apply
About the Role You’ll own inventory accuracy for the Rowley Fulfillment Center. That means running the cycle count program, leading a team of inventory specialists, and making sure what’s in the system matches what’s on the floor. Early on, you’ll get grounded in how inventory flows today, then quickly step into running scheduling, supporting SIOP, and tightening up where accuracy breaks down. Responsibilities Lead a team of Inventory Control Specialists, including scheduling, performance management, and day-to-day direction of work Run the cycle count program and hold ownership over inventory accuracy across finished goods and work‑in‑process inventory Build and manage daily and weekly schedules to ensure coverage and execution of inventory activities Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory movement, investigate discrepancies, and validate accuracy Identify root causes of inventory issues and implement process improvements Ensure all inventory is received, stored, and transacted accurately and on time within the facility Order and manage fulfillment supplies to support daily operations Set and track inventory‑related KPIs, then drive the team to hit those targets Train and develop inventory specialists, including onboarding and ongoing skill development Step in and perform inventory specialist work when needed, staying hands‑on with the operation Support hiring decisions, including interviewing candidates and providing input on promotions Required Qualifications At least 3 years of distribution or warehouse experience in a high‑volume, high‑mix environment Direct experience supervising or leading warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance management Hands‑on ownership of a cycle count or inventory accuracy program Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for transactions, reporting, and inventory tracking Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office tools Ability to operate in an active warehouse environment, including lifting up to 40 lbs Preferred Qualifications Experience working with automated or vertical storage systems Bachelor’s Degree Exposure to Lean or continuous improvement methods and applying them to warehouse processes Experience managing both full‑time employees and contract labor Comfort working with inventory‑related metrics, costs, and performance tracking Location Find yourself in the heart of Rowley, MA, where our modern facility resides. This range reflects what the company reasonably expects to pay at the time of posting.
