Inventory Manager Apply
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management & Planning

Monitor inventory levels and adjust reorder points based on demand trends and forecast data.

Maintain accurate demand forecasts to ensure optimal product availability.

Coordinate receiving activities and verify that shipments match purchase orders.
-
Forecast and project future inventory needs using sales data and planned orders.
-
Manage incoming shipments, reconcile outstanding items, and maintain accurate records.
-
Oversee emergency stock items and coordinate the shipment of customer-supplied materials as needed.

Maintain, improve, and evolve internal inventory systems.
-
Conduct quarterly inventory audits and resolve any discrepancies.
-
Plan and schedule production based on inventory availability, priorities, and deadlines.
Purchasing & Vendor Coordination

Submit and manage purchase orders to suppliers.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, monitoring lead times and delivery schedules.
-
Conduct regular meetings with suppliers to review open orders and shipment progress.
-
Research and recommend new vendors to support operational efficiency.
-
Coordinate vendor returns, RMA/PRR processes, and credit memo reconciliations.

Ensure all office, production, and operational supplies are adequately stocked.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Serve as a key liaison between operations, sales, accounting, and IT to ensure seamless information flow.

Partner with customer service and accounting teams to manage order release, payment status, and credit availability.

Assist production teams with order prioritization, scheduling, and shipping coordination.

Support administrative staff with ad hoc reporting and data analysis.
-
Verify invoices against received shipments and address discrepancies with suppliers.

Reconcile credit card purchases with associated transactions.
General Support

Maintain organized and accurate documentation across all systems.

Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
-
Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational goals.
Qualifications

Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Proven experience in inventory management, purchasing, or scheduling.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Advanced spreadsheet and data analysis skills.

Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and general ERP or inventory software.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Positive, proactive, and collaborative work style.

High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks) and shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, LTL, freight) is a plus.
