We are seeking an Inventory Manager to join our team in Havre, Montana. This role is vital in ensuring the accurate staging, organization, and movement of vehicles, equipment, and materials that support our projects.

This is a full-time, on-site position with pay ranging from $25$30 per hour, depending on experience and whether you hold a valid CDL.

Job Summary:

As the Inventory Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the accurate tracking, staging, and movement of inventory vehicles and related equipment. You will ensure that all items are properly inspected, documented, and prepared for inbound/outbound transport or delivery. This position requires attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


Responsibilities:

  • Receive, log, organize, and stage vehicles/equipment in accordance with company standards
  • Use handheld scanning equipment and digital tools to track inventory locations
  • Perform multi-point inspections of vehicles and complete accurate inspection reports
  • Ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance in all vehicle and inventory handling
  • Maintain the lot, yard, and workspace areas in a clean and organized manner
  • Safely operate company-owned vehicles (CDL preferred for larger vehicle handling)
  • Fuel and prepare vehicles as needed
  • Collaborate with management and team members to meet project deadlines


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • CDL highly preferred, but not required
  • Previous inventory, logistics, or yard management experience preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to use computers, tablets, and mobile devices for tracking and reporting
  • Team player with professional communication skills
  • Able to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles


Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Ability to walk 510 miles per shift while moving around yard/lot
  • Frequent entry/exit of vehicles
  • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, squat, and stand for extended periods
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.)
  • Work in environments that may be noisy, dusty, wet, or contain vehicle fumes


Additional Hiring Requirements:

  • Must pass a drug screen and background check (case-by-case review for offenses)
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from job site
  • Must provide proof of legal right to work in the U.S. (per IRCA 1986)
