The Position We are seeking an Inventory Manager, High Performance Compute (HPC) in Dallas to oversee day-to-day inventory operations supporting large-scale compute infrastructure environments. This role is responsible for managing the movement, tracking, accuracy, and operational readiness of GPUs, servers, networking equipment, storage hardware, and related infrastructure equipment across warehouse and data center environments. This is a highly operational and hands-on role focused on execution, process discipline, inventory integrity, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will combine strong inventory management fundamentals with a data‑driven mindset to improve visibility, forecasting, inventory strategy, and operational efficiency across infrastructure operations. Responsibilities Own day-to-day inventory operations supporting HPC infrastructure environments, including GPUs, servers, racks, networking equipment, storage systems, and critical spare parts. Maintain accurate inventory records, item master data, serial tracking, and location management across ERP and inventory management systems to ensure operational integrity and traceability. Monitor inventory availability and replenishment needs to support deployment schedules, operational uptime, and infrastructure scaling initiatives. Reconcile physical inventory against system records, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain high inventory accuracy standards. Analyze inventory consumption trends, lead times, and demand forecasts to optimize stocking strategies, reduce shortages, and minimize excess inventory exposure. Identify operational, supply chain, and component availability risks that may impact compute deployment timelines or infrastructure reliability, and develop mitigation plans. Manage approved alternate and substitute hardware components in partnership with DC Operations and Infrastructure teams to ensure operational continuity and hardware compatibility. Develop and maintain dashboards and operational reporting focused on inventory health, deployment readiness, utilization, shortages, and inventory movement metrics. Drive process improvements across inventory operations, warehouse workflows, and tracking procedures to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy. Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, DC Operations, and Infrastructure Operations teams to support planning, reporting, and operational decision-making. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or HPC infrastructure operations. Experience supporting data center, cloud infrastructure, enterprise hardware, or high-performance compute environments preferred. Strong understanding of inventory control procedures, inventory strategy, operational workflows, and inventory accuracy best practices. Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, inventory management platforms, and tracking tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess inventory risk, supply constraints, and operational impacts. Effective communication skills and ability to coordinate across technical and operational teams. Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments with evolving infrastructure demands. #J-18808-Ljbffr
