We manage a nationwide fulfillment and distribution network supporting healthcare providers, retail partners, government programs, and regulated waste collection initiatives. As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced Senior Inventory & Product Manager to lead inventory strategy, purchasing, product management, regulatory support, and NetSuite inventory operations from our headquarters in Katy, Texas. This position plays a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, product availability, supplier performance, and regulatory compliance across multiple warehouses, third‑party logistics providers, and international supply partners. Position Summary The Senior Inventory & Product Manager is responsible for managing inventory across multiple locations, overseeing purchasing activities, maintaining product data and BOM structures, supporting FDA‑regulated operations, and driving inventory optimization throughout the supply chain. This role requires advanced NetSuite experience, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven background managing inventory and purchasing in a multi‑site environment. Experience working with cross‑border supply chains, contract manufacturers, and regulated products is strongly preferred. This is a hands‑on leadership role that works closely with Operations, Finance, Quality, Customer Service, Suppliers, and Executive Leadership. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management Manage inventory strategy across multiple warehouses, fulfillment centers, and third‑party logistics providers. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting, auditing, reconciliation, and process improvement initiatives. Monitor inventory levels, inventory aging, stock outs, safety stock, and replenishment requirements. Coordinate inventory transfers between facilities to maximize service levels and inventory utilization. Develop inventory forecasting and replenishment strategies based on demand trends and supplier lead times. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and transaction issues. Monitor inventory in transit and proactively manage supply risks. Product Management Create and maintain item master records, BOMs, assemblies, kits, and product configurations within NetSuite. Manage product lifecycle activities—including launches, revisions, packaging updates, and discontinuations. Ensure product specifications, regulatory documentation, and product records remain accurate and current. Partner with Operations, Quality, and Purchasing teams to support new product introductions and product changes. Purchasing & Supply Chain Manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships. Generate, review, and manage purchase orders within NetSuite. Coordinate purchasing and inventory planning with domestic and international suppliers. Monitor supplier performance, pricing, lead times, service levels, and inventory commitments. Manage inventory impacts related to customs clearance, border crossings, freight delays, and supplier lead‑time variability. Partner with logistics providers and contract manufacturers to maintain inventory visibility and continuity of supply. Support sourcing initiatives, cost reduction efforts, and supplier development programs. NetSuite Administration Serve as the internal subject matter expert for inventory, purchasing, and product management functions within NetSuite. Maintain item setups, assemblies, planning parameters, inventory transactions, and inventory controls. Develop inventory reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools. Identify and implement system and process improvements that increase visibility and efficiency. Compliance & Quality Support FDA‑regulated operations and product traceability requirements. Maintain inventory records, lot controls, and documentation in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements. Support internal audits, customer audits, corrective actions, and quality investigations. Ensure inventory and product management processes align with quality and compliance standards. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of inventory management experience. 3+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience. Advanced NetSuite experience required. Experience managing inventory across multiple warehouse locations, distribution centers, and/or third‑party logistics providers. Demonstrated experience balancing inventory across multiple facilities while maintaining service levels. Experience supporting domestic and international supply chains. Working knowledge of cross‑border supply chain operations, including inventory impacts related to customs, imports, exports, and border transit. Experience managing BOMs, assemblies, kitting operations, and item master data. Strong analytical, reporting, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with FDA‑regulated products, medical devices, healthcare products, pharmaceutical products, or regulated manufacturing environments. Experience with U.S. and Mexico supply chains. Experience working with contract manufacturers and international suppliers. Experience with RF‑SMART, warehouse management systems, or inventory automation tools. APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar certifications. Experience supporting quality systems, audits, and compliance programs. What Success Looks Like Inventory accuracy exceeds 99%. Stock outs and inventory shortages are proactively managed.
