Inventory Specialist Apply
Scope:All training will be provided
- Follow detail documentation and verbal instructions.
- Maintain 5S area protocol and cleaning guidelines for designated areas.
- Maintain locked cabinet, issue critical high-end supplies and calibration equipment as needed.
- Assisting on cleaning, organizing and stocking the production areas as needed.
- Ensure all material invoices/packing lists are logged, reconciled with POs, organized and submitted to accounting.
- Submit purchase orders for all production supplies.
- Work with Logistics lead for daily assistance
- Receive, reconcile inventory and stock supplies.
- Maintain inventory spreadsheet up to date and keep inventory stocks healthy.
- Work with leads and planner to evaluate supply trends, staffing changes and adjust stock levels.
- Work with Purchasing Manager to evaluate supplies trend changes.
- Maintain a log of Batch specific test results for all Gasses, Chemistry and Media received and trend for potential out of specification results. (True Chem)
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Clerical Skills: Inventory Specialist needs to know how to type, file, and keep accurate records.
- Communication Skills: Inventory Specialist to communicate with co-workers, Lead, and others to make sure that accurate records are being made of inventory.
- Attention to Detail: Accurate inventory counts to ensure not to miss any details when counting orders and taking stock.
- Math Skills: Inventory Specialist will be using basic math to add/deduct inventory.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
