Are you an SAP-savvy professional looking for a stable role with a growing company? Sapphire Recruitment is seeking an Inventory & Materials Clerk to join the team at Briggs & Stratton in Sherrill, NY.
This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity, meaning we are looking for a long-term team member to grow with a company that is currently expanding and leading the industry.
The Perks of the Position
- The Schedule: Work Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Enjoy a 3-day weekend every week to recharge or spend time with family.
- The Environment: This is primarily a desk-based office role. While you’ll be the "brain" of the inventory process, you won't be spending all day on your feet in the warehouse.

Your Daily Impact
Working within the materials management team, you will ensure the accuracy of the supply chain by:
- Managing and reconciling inventory records within SAP.
- Performing critical inventory analysis and reporting.
- Coordinating cycle counts and investigating variances.
- Collaborating with the production team to ensure materials are where they need to be.
What We’re Looking For
- SAP Expertise: You must be comfortable and experienced navigating SAP.
- Inventory Background: Prior experience with cycle counting, materials control, or inventory analysis is required.
- Detail-Oriented Mindset: You enjoy "detective work" and getting the numbers to match perfectly.
- Professionalism: Reliability is key for this high-impact position.
