The Inventory Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the daily operations of inventory and supply functions. This position ensures efficient and effective inventory control, proper maintenance of supplies, and adherence to safety regulations while managing and leading a dedicated team. Responsibilities Supervise daily inventory activities ensuring all operations conform to company policies and safety regulations. Manage inventory control with accuracy by monitoring stock levels, supplies, and receipts. Implement and enforce quality control measures to reduce errors in shipments and receipts. Coordinate schedules, workflows, and tasks for staff to meet operational deadlines. Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and initiate corrective actions. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams. Train, mentor, and support staff to enhance their skills and ensure high performance. Utilize inventory management software and technologies to streamline operations. Generate reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and other key metrics for management review. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field is preferred. Proven experience as an Inventory Supervisor or Inventory Manager. Strong knowledge of inventory operations, inventory management, and safety regulations. Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organisational and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
