Inventory Supervisor Apply
Position Summary:The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing inventory accuracy, control, and movement within the warehouse. This role ensures proper inventory tracking, conducts cycle counts, investigates discrepancies, and works closely with warehouse operations to maintain optimal stock levels and inventory integrity.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and manage daily inventory control activities.Ensure accurate inventory records in the WMS/ERP system.Plan and conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, and audits.Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and variances.Monitor inventory movements, transfers, and adjustments.Coordinate with Receiving, Shipping, and Warehouse teams to ensure proper inventory handling.Establish and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.Train and supervise inventory control staff.Analyze inventory data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.Prepare inventory reports, accurate metrics, and variance summaries.Ensure proper labeling, location control, and storage of products.Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.Monitor team performance and provide feedback to support continuous improvement.Prepare reports related to receiving activity, shortages, damages, and vendor compliance.Maintains and enforces attendance records and other personnel file documentation.Supports management and enforces all warehouse rules and regulations.Works with Shift Manager(Operation Manager) to develop and maintain staffing needs.Qualification:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred5+ years of warehouse receiving experience, including supervisory or lead experience.Strong knowledge of inventory control, and warehouse operations.Experience with WMS, ERP systems, and basic computer skills (Excel, email).Supervisory experience with proven ability to lead and motivate staff. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adhere to timelines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.United States Employment Eligibility Physical Qualification:Regularly life and/or move objects 25-55 lbs. Occasionally lift and/or move objects that more than 75 lbs.
