Job Title: Inventory Technician  Location: Southgate, KY  Reports To: Inventory Manager Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Technician to support the operational efficiency of our pharmacy by maintaining, organizing, and tracking all drug and supply inventory. This role plays a key part in keeping pharmacy workflow running smoothly by ensuring that all materials, equipment, and supplies are available, organized, and accessible when needed. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management & Retrieval Receive, label, and organize inventory within the warehouse according to storage requirements and safety guidelines. Maintain accurate inventory records in the system. Track incoming shipments and communicate expected delivery timelines. Monitor stock levels to be able to proactively reorder to avoid shortages or delays. Fulfill inventory retrieval requests from pharmacy staff and deliver materials to designated workstations as needed. Facility Support & Equipment Handling Helps assemble necessary supplies and kits to help dispensing technicians. Assemble and set up workflow-related equipment and supplies for staff use. Organize and maintain workspace cleanliness. Dispose of packaging and waste materials as needed to support a clean and safe work environment. Assist with layout updates, equipment rearrangement, and stocking of workstations. Process Improvement & Coordination Suggest improvements to inventory storage, tracking, or replenishment processes to support efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or related certification preferred. Prior experience in inventory, logistics, warehouse, or pharmacy operations is strongly preferred. Ability to lift to 50+ lbs and be on your feet or moving throughout the day. Forklift certification, or the ability to obtain certification in a timely manner Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
