Minimum Qualifications
Five (5) years of experience working in insurance regulation, compliance, regulatory affairs, legal, or related. ( A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field substitutes as one (1) year of experience. An Advanced degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field substitutes as eighteen (18) months of experience.)

An Advanced degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field substitutes as eighteen (18) months of experience.)
Applicants who meet the above education/experience requirements will be further evaluated based on the following:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong verbal communication skills necessary to participate in discussions and interviews with various parties and ability to convey relevant issues to others.
- Strong written communication skills necessary to write, prepare, and edit memos, letters, and presentations while using correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
- Project management skills sufficient to manage several investigations and inquiries simultaneously.
- More than five (5) years of experience with insurance regulation, compliance, regulatory affiars, or legal.
- Knowledge of and/or experience with insurance law, particularly Minnesotas.
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
- One or more insurance designations (CIE, AIE, MCM, CLU, FLMI, CPCU, CIC, FAHM, PIR, or APIR).
