This role is part of our newly created Alternatives and Hedging Solutions team, an exciting opportunity to grow your career in Investments.What you'll be doing:As an Investment Analyst within the Alternatives and Hedging Solutions team you will:Deliver high quality research and analysis to support investment decisions across the Alternatives (diversifying hedge funds, ILS and other absolute return strategies) and Hedging Solutions (e.g. currency hedging, equity protection, LDI, gold).Support manager research, selection and ongoing monitoring, including operational due diligence where requiredBuild and maintain investment papers, committee materials and reporting that is clear, evidence based and decision readyAnalyse performance, risk, exposures and portfolio positioning, and turn this into practical insightEmbed responsible investment and stewardship considerations into analysis and recommendationsWork closely with Portfolio Managers, the Risk team, Responsible Investment and Stewardship colleagues, and external managers and providersYou will gain exposure to strategic change alongside technical investment depth, forming the foundation of a highly impactful career.About UsLGPS Central (LGPSC) Ltd is the FCA regulated asset manager for fourteen local authority pension funds across the Midlands.
