PKF Investment Banking ( is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join our rapidly growing M&A advisory practice. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an entrepreneur‑minded firm supported by a top‑tier private equity‑backed accounting and advisory platform. Successful candidates for this position will have the ability to make a tangible impact from the onset and contribute to building a leading middle‑market M&A advisory firm.
As an Analyst / Associate at PKF Investment Banking, you will assume significant responsibilities related to pitching for and executing middle‑market sell‑side and buy‑side M&A transactions for a diverse group of industries.
We are focused on providing the highest level of M&A advisory services to privately held family‑ and founder‑owned companies with revenue between $15 million and $350 million.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of financial and valuation models and other key financial analyses
Support the preparation of client presentations, pitch materials, and other marketing documents
Conduct industry research to identify key trends, potential buyers, and acquisition targets
Facilitate due diligence processes, coordinating with internal teams, other advisors, and clients
Coordinate and manage various aspects of deal execution from origination to closure
Assist senior bankers in their business development efforts and support all aspects of the transaction process
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of deliverables, adhering to internal and client deadlines
Required Skills and Experience
Effective communication skills – both written and verbal – and ability to develop relationships
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills as well as financial modeling experience
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a high‑pressure environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
Must be able to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
4‑year degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or MBA from a top‑tier business school
Minimum of two years of Investment Banking or Transaction Advisory Services work experience (no exceptions)
Series 63 and 79 licenses
Willingness and ability to travel as needed
The annual compensation range for this role is $75,000 to $140,000. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs.
