Job Overview A full-time Mid‑Level IP Litigation Associate Attorney position based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role focuses on patent and intellectual property litigation involving complex disputes across the technology, life sciences, and consumer products industries. Attorneys will work on sophisticated matters while collaborating with experienced litigators in a nationally recognized intellectual property practice.
Duties Represent clients in patent and intellectual property litigation matters
Handle patent and trade secret disputes through all phases of litigation
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
Develop litigation strategies for complex intellectual property matters
Collaborate with attorneys and clients on case management and legal strategy
Work with technical and scientific concepts to support litigation efforts
Provide legal analysis and strategic advice throughout the litigation process
Participate in hearings, depositions, trials, and other litigation proceedings as required
Requirements Experience handling patent and/or trade secret litigation matters; strong academic credentials and litigation experience; demonstrated leadership ability and willingness to assume increasing responsibility; strong work ethic and commitment to client service.
Education and Certifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Bachelor’s degree in a hard science, life science, or related technical field
Active admission to the state bar where practicing
