Job Description:
Position Overview:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our IT team as an Agile Scrum Master.
  • This role is vital in ensuring successful and efficient delivery of projects using Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
  • The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating collaboration, communication, and coordination amongst the development team, as well as removing any obstacles that may impede progress.
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce eCommerce projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as a servant leader and facilitate the Agile Scrum process, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and values.
  • Guide and coach the development team on Agile Scrum practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team empowerment.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with the product owner and development team to define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it is well-groomed and ready for upcoming sprints.
  • Remove any impediments or roadblocks that may hinder the development team's progress.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about project status, risks, and issues, and facilitate effective communication between the development team and other stakeholders.
  • Track and report team velocity and sprint progress, ensuring that sprint commitments are met.
  • Ensure that the development team follows Agile Scrum best practices, including timeboxing, iterative development, and delivering working software incrementally.
  • Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum, and a solid track record of successfully implementing Agile practices.
  • Experience working in an IT environment as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or equivalent role.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate and build consensus amongst team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Technical proficiency in software development processes and tools.
  • Experience with Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Rally, or similar.
