At Vernovis, we help these professionals achieve their career goals, matching them with innovative projects and dynamic direct hire opportunities in Ohio and across the Midwest.Client Overview:Vernovis is partnering with a construction-focused organization in the Miamisburg area seeking a Business Analyst – IT to support enterprise technology systems, optimize workflows, and drive adoption across key business platforms.If interested, please contact:Mckenzie Andrix at mandrix@vernovis.comWhat You'll Do:Partner with business and IT stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document system requirementsMap and optimize workflows across enterprise construction platforms and applicationsTranslate business needs into functional specifications, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteriaAct as product owner for enterprise platforms, supporting full lifecycle delivery and enhancementsCoordinate cross-system releases, integrations, and change management activitiesLead testing efforts including UAT planning, defect triage, and stakeholder trainingMaintain documentation including process flows, release notes, roadmaps, and governance artifactsServe as an SME for enterprise applications and support continuous improvement initiativesWhat Experience You'll Have:1-3+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or similar roleStrong background in requirements gathering, workflow/process analysis, and documentationExperience supporting enterprise systems such as ERP, document management, or project management toolsProficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and reporting tools (Power BI/Excel)Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical teamsWhat Experience is Nice to Have:Experience in the construction industry or project-based environmentsFamiliarity with platforms such as Vista by Viewpoint, Autodesk ACC, Hyland OnBase, or Oracle P6Exposure to Power Apps or process automation initiatives
