Role SummaryAubay is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our global client in the Financial Services sector. This role requires someone passionate about delivering high-quality solutions across the full project lifecycle - from ideation through to transition and handover. The ideal candidate will be a strong collaborator, capable of connecting the dots between scope, product, requirements, architecture/design, cross-functional delivery teams, end-to-end planning, and governance. We're looking for someone who excels in requirement gathering, business process mapping, stakeholder management, thrives under pressure, and can motivate both themselves and others to achieve results in complex environments. This role requires the successful candidate to be on-site in Solihull three days a week.Required Skills and ExperienceMinimum 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role) working on complex programmes/projectsBroad knowledge of IT platforms and technologiesKnowledge of Software Application Development in both Waterfall & AgileSelf-starter who will work on their own initiative and drive othersDelivery-focused / results-driven with effective problem-solving and leadership skillsEffective risk assessment and managementExcellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilityStrong MS Office Product skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VisioDesirable Skills / ExperienceExperience working in Financial ServicesWorking knowledge of JIRAAgile delivery experience, including working knowledge of Agile sprint ceremoniesPrevious experience with cloud architecture and/or migration on-prem to cloudExperience in leading and delivering requirements for an external partnerKey Role ResponsibilitiesGather, analyse, and prioritise business requirements (using MoSCoW), translating them into clear functional specificationsFacilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to elicit, challenge, and validate requirements and their business impactAct as the main point of contact between business stakeholders, development teams, and third parties throughout the project lifecycleBuild and maintain effective working relationships with internal departmentsAnalyse and document business processes and workflows, and obtain sign-off from stakeholdersSupport the Request for Service (RS) initiator and ensure the RS process is followedCollaborate with development, infrastructure, and architecture teams to provide accurate estimatesDesign and execute test scenarios and scripts in collaboration with the test teamManage change requests to ensure alignment with project plans and agreed deadlinesProduce regular reports for the project manager on progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and resource needs
