Position: IT Coordinator

Location: Bakersfield, CA

Type: Direct Hire, Full Time

Pay: $22-$25 an hour

 

Primary Focus: The IT Coordinator's main responsibility is to assist the IT Director in tracking, scheduling, and billing for the company's IT Department.

Reporting Relationship: The IT Coordinator reports directly to the IT Director.

 

Essential Job Functions:

· Purchase Tracking: Responsible for tracking all office equipment purchases to ensure proper and timely billing (including Purchase Orders).

· Vendor Communication: Assist in resolving issues or discrepancies with vendors and internal accounting teams.

· Invoice Management: Receive and track invoices and requisitions for goods and services; break out shared bills and distribute them to the appropriate Accounts Payable departments for internal billing.

· Invoice Preparation: Prepare batches of invoices for approval and distribution to the proper internal departments.

· Asset Management: Assist in tracking assets and transferring equipment as needed.

· Service Ticket Management: Open and track service tickets for all outside IT vendors; communicate issues to the IT Director for resolution.

· File Maintenance: Maintain updated files, including vendor information, inventory, and software licensing.

· Additional Tasks: Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Qualification Requirements:

· Proficiency in spoken and written English; Spanish is a plus.

· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

· Proven track record of completing responsibilities on time with high quality.

· General clerical knowledge and math skills are advantageous.

· Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

· Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.

· Ability to work with limited supervision.

· Capable of standing and lifting/moving items up to 25 pounds.

· Strong interpersonal skills to work well with others and follow directions.
