REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Minimum of HS Diploma or GED Required
- Associate Degree Preferred
EXPERIENCE:
* 1-3 years IT experience
**Hardware Experience (beyond imaging/deployment)
Desired Skills:
Hardware/software installation, troubleshooting and support
Prior experience with Active Directory administration
Experience imaging PCs and working with deployment server(s)
Basic knowledge management
Basic smart hands (network configuration) knowledge
Preferred Certifications:
- CompTIA IT Fundamentals
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Cloud+
- CompTIA Mobility+
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Server+
This is a Desktop Support position where in addition to the items below, the primary responsibilities will be managing vulnerability patching of selected Lab Systems, communicating with lab owners, and technical staff to record and update our configuration management database and active directory. The candidate will be expected to attend update meetings, align to a schedule and troubleshoot issues as they arise. They will also be upgrading legacy Windows systems to the current Client Version, as well.
Responsible for the effective acquisition, installation, maintenance, and use of desktop technology.
May be responsible for the purchase and installation of hardware/software.
Represents bridge between technology and business needs.
Resolves problems with new and existing equipment.
May train end users on software.
Administers end user requests and projects.
Coordinates resources to solve problems.
