Job Title: IT Engineer(US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, network equipment, and end-user devices.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues for internal employees.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and availability of the company's IT systems and networks.
• Support and manage software and hardware upgrades, patches, and backups.
• Assist with network administration, including configuring firewalls, VPNs, and other network devices.
• Support system and network security efforts, including the implementation of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
• Configure and maintain email systems, cloud-based applications, and internal communication platforms.
• Ensure proper data backup and disaster recovery systems are in place and functioning.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure the timely resolution of issues and improvements to the IT infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to IT systems, configurations, and processes.
• Assist with IT project implementation, including system upgrades, new software deployments, and infrastructure improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging IT technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements or upgrades to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience as an IT Engineer, IT Technician, or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, hardware, networking, and software.
• Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
• Experience with network administration, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN configuration.
• Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-based applications.
• Solid understanding of network security practices and principles.
• Experience with IT support ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
• Experience in backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
