Summary:

Position Info:

  • Title: IT Help Desk Technician
  • Client: RCC Associates
  • Duration: 11 Months
  • Location: Deerfield Beach, FL 33442
  • Work Mode: Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, including maintenance of workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot user problems, identify sources of issues, and implement solutions.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including software and hardware upgrades.
  • Train users on company applications and provide technical problem-solving assistance.
  • Maintain logs, records, and reports for technical support activities.
  • Ensure data and network integrity through preventative maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for IT functions.
  • Assist the IT Manager and oversee IT functions in their absence.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of PCs, laptops, printers, and related hardware.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft 365 Office, and diagnostic software.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving both onsite and remote IT issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented and diverse environment.

Education/Experience:

  • Degree in a related field or 2-3 years of help desk and networking experience, or equivalent work experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Requires standing, walking, sitting, and other physical movements.

Work Environment:

  • Open office layout with moderate noise levels; job sites may have louder noise conditions
