Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level contact for IT-related issues and inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems for staff.
  • Set up and configure new workstations and necessary software applications.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Educate employees on best practices for using technology and handling technical issues.
  • Assist with data backups and system recovery processes.
  • Collaborate with external IT vendors for hardware repairs and system upgrades.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technologies.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
