Responsibilities
- Provide first-level contact for IT-related issues and inquiries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems for staff.
- Set up and configure new workstations and necessary software applications.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
- Educate employees on best practices for using technology and handling technical issues.
- Assist with data backups and system recovery processes.
- Collaborate with external IT vendors for hardware repairs and system upgrades.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technologies.
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
