IT Infrastructure Administrator II ProSites Job Summary The IT Infrastructure Administrator II is a hands‑on technical operations role responsible for providing support and administration for customer‑facing services, as well as the underlying applications, servers, and network components. The role owns support requests escalated to it by the Service Desk, resolves or escalates them further, and ensures timely resolution. Ideal candidates have experience with a wide range of on‑premises and cloud technologies and a desire to continuously improve their knowledge. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Experience with Linux Server Infrastructure including core installations (command line only) and scripting of repetitive/maintenance tasks (cron). Preferred distributions: Red‑Hat/CentOS derivatives, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux. Experience with containerized micro services (both on‑prem and cloud) – Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Portainer. Experience with network infrastructure and concepts – VLAN setup and addressing, NAT public to private. Operating services behind a Web Application Firewall (WAF) and load balancers; adjust security rules to eliminate false positives while maintaining security. Experience with DNS and email record management (DMARC/DKIM/SPF, A, CNAME, alias records), domain registrar configuration, DNSSEC, and web hosting platforms such as cPanel, Windows IIS, and WordPress multisite. Daily service monitoring, verifying integrity and availability of all services and key processes. Create and maintain knowledge‑base documentation and operation runbooks. Provision physical/virtual servers and network components in an ITIL service‑desk environment. Participate in regulatory compliance audits (PCI/HIPAA) and penetration testing with remediation tasks. Regular and reliable attendance; this is a full‑time position. Other duties as required by management. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to identify inefficiencies and provide solutions to improve systems and processes. Ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment with urgency, ownership, and accountability. Ability to prioritize work items, make sound judgments, and improve the customer experience. Experience in a SaaS or web‑hosting environment (Preferred). Background supporting remote and hybrid teams at scale (Preferred). Physical/Mental Requirements Prolonged periods of sedentary movement. May be requested to work overtime and weekends with little advanced notice. Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds. Occasional travel may be required for certain management positions.
