Headquartered in Hartselle, Alabama, Cerrowire is a copper wire manufacturing company with plants in Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, and Utah. We energize the future by supply building wire and cable throughout North America for commercial, industrial and residential use.

What Youll Do:
The IT Intern will work with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, identifying opportunities for automating manual tasks and processes, and designing and developing automation solutions that meet the needs of the business. They will also gain hands-on experience with in-demand skills including database management, cloud computing, communication and presentation.
What Youll Need:
Current undergrad working towards a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
Skills in Excel, Python, SQL, Azure, O365, and MS Power Platforms.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
Motivated with a strong desire to take on new challenges and eager to learn as much as possible.
Compensation:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience and educational background
Work Hours/Length of Program:
The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August
Full Time, 40 hours per week
Exact start and end dates are flexible based on school schedules and the needs of the business

Hartselle, AL (strong preference for local candidates, though remote candidates may be considered).
