Gold River, CA – $17 to $46 hourly – Full Time Job Description As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure and systems. You will lead a team of IT professionals, manage IT projects, ensure data security, and provide technical support to our employees. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT systems and networks, excellent leadership skills, and a track record of successfully managing IT operations. Responsibilities Develop and implement the overall IT strategy aligned with the company’s objectives and goals. Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications systems. Manage a team of IT professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and performance evaluations. Ensure the security and integrity of data, systems, and networks through the implementation of appropriate security measures and protocols. Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure enhancements. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, solutions, and systems to improve efficiency and productivity. Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and align IT solutions accordingly. Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and consultants. Monitor IT performance metrics and KPIs, analyzing trends and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT management. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar IT leadership role. Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure. Proficiency in infrastructure management, including servers, databases, cloud services, and virtualization technologies. Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices. Experience managing IT projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP are a plus.
