Position Summary The IT Principal serves as a senior technical and strategic leader responsible for driving the organization’s technology vision, architecture, and operational excellence. This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership, guiding teams in the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, and applications to meet business goals. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute long‑term IT strategies aligned with business objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on technology trends, opportunities, and risks. Lead IT governance, standards, and best practices across projects and teams. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to enhance performance and efficiency. Lead and develop leads, supervisors, and managers to increase overall technological proficiency in the company. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Define technical competencies and ensure professional development within the organization. Project & Operations Management Oversee complex IT projects from conception through deployment. Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships effectively. Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership or architecture role. Proven success managing large‑scale IT initiatives and cross‑functional teams. Microsoft Excel SQL Server ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics) Data management and integration tools Network and infrastructure design Soft Skills Fluency in Spanish is a strong plus. Strategic thinking and business acumen. Strong communication and presentation skills. Experience and ability to train non‑technical users. Ability to influence executive decisions. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills. Performance Indicators Successful delivery of IT initiatives within scope, budget, and timeline. Improved system reliability, security, and scalability. Enhanced alignment between IT and business goals. Measurable growth in team capability and performance.
