IT Manager QMS Systems Development, Polarion

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is Medical Device organization seeking an IT Manager who is a Polarion technical expert, understands Quality Systems Management Development from an IT perspective, and has experience working in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry.
They are in the process of creating an in-house team of resources who can own Polarion. This role would be the leader of this group. In the short term, this individual would provide input and recommendations on team build out, initial plans include selection and onboarding of two QMS Systems Developers.

Environment:
Our client is currently seeking an IT Manager/ Lead who is a Polarion technical expert and has experience working in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry.
On a day-to-day basis your key responsibilities will be, and not limited to:

• Lead and engage with the organizations IT vendors and internal business users to fully understand the current state of Polarion as well as the roadmap of future enhancements
• Working closely with IT Vendors for knowledge transfer purposes.
• Provide technical guidance to internal users reviewing the roadmap of enhancements with users and vendors, offering recommended changes to plan, creating impact assessments for upgrades.
• Provide technical expertise, interpretation, and direction to internal team on transition plans to mitigate risks
• Work with business owners to ensure requirements specifications are defined in a clear testable format
• Effectively work with cross functional teams (business owners, technical team, project manager) to ensure the validated state of the system is maintained.
