IT Operations Manager (Infrastructure, Systems & Service Delivery) The Donovan's Venom, INC. is a 501(c)(3) non‑profit organization dedicated to bringing music, art, and entertainment to those in need. Remote | Technology | Volunteer Management Role The Donovan’s Venom is growing—more systems, more users, more complexity. We need strong IT operations to keep everything running. The Role This role is responsible for managing the day‑to‑day operations of the organization’s technology environment, overseeing systems, support, and ensuring infrastructure is stable, secure, and scalable. What You’ll Own IT Operations Strategy & Stability Oversee daily IT operations across systems, tools, and platforms. Ensure stability, uptime, and reliability. Infrastructure & Systems Management Manage infrastructure, including cloud environments and internal systems (e.g., Google Workspace). Ensure systems are scalable and efficient. IT Support & Service Delivery Oversee IT support processes, issue tracking, and resolution workflows. Ensure timely and effective support for all teams. Process Development & Standardization Build and improve IT operations processes, support workflows, incident management, and system maintenance routines. Ensure consistency and efficiency. Performance & Reliability Monitor system performance and uptime. Identify and resolve performance issues. Ensure systems meet operational needs. Security & Risk Coordination Partner with Information Security to maintain secure configurations. Reduce operational risks. Ensure IT operations align with security practices. User Access & System Administration Oversee user access and permissions. Ensure proper onboarding/offboarding system access. Maintain system integrity. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Engineering, Security, HR, and Operations. Ensure IT systems support all teams effectively. Documentation & Knowledge Management Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting guides. Ensure knowledge is accessible and standardized. Automation & Efficiency Identify opportunities to automate processes. Reduce manual work. Improve response times and efficiency. Continuous Improvement Identify operational gaps and inefficiencies. Implement improvements to scale operations. Strengthen overall IT performance. Who This Is For Someone who thinks in systems, processes, and reliability. Is proactive in identifying and solving issues. Can manage both operations and strategy. Is highly organized and detail‑oriented. Thrives in a fast‑moving, growing environment. Qualifications Required 4–6 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, technical support, or infrastructure roles. Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, support and service delivery processes. Preferred Experience with cloud platforms, Google Workspace or similar systems. Experience in nonprofit or mission‑driven organizations. Experience in remote teams. Commitment 10–15 hours per week. Flexible schedule (responsiveness to operational needs). Participation in IT and cross‑functional meetings required. Fully remote. What You’ll Gain Experience leading IT operations. Exposure to infrastructure and system management.
