Builds long term relationships and forms interdisciplinary teams that include participation from patient care, research and education mission areas. Functions with full authority for the execution and delivery of strategic program & portfolio objectives and deliverables; providing recommendations on scope, schedule, resources, budget and risks.IT Program Manager will be accountable for the program or portfolio management of IT projects and investments for a specific business area throughout the planning and project lifecycle.Mentors Portfolio Management Office staff on both project and career growth and makes development recommendations.**Position Summary**As member of the OSUWMC IT Portfolio Management Office, the Program Manager serves as a leader of interdisciplinary programs on an enterprise level. The Program Manager works with executive management across the health system and determines how technology can assist in addressing the needs of the enterprise; then translates these needs into system requirements and design specifications. The Program Manager understands how to leverage the integration of applications and technology for competitive advantage and coordinates dynamic teams of individuals who meet business objectives, schedules, and outcomes. The Program Manager also serves as a mentor within the team and support other duties including, on-boarding of new staff, monitoring project quality and recommending professional development.**Minimum Qualifications**Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration or related field and 6 years of Agile project management experience.
