Job Description

Freddie Mac is seeking an experienced IT Program Manager to join the Investments & Capital Markets Business Technology Office (BTO). This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of IT and business transformation initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong program management experience, financial services domain knowledge, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Required Skills
  • 7+ years of IT Program Management experience
  • Strong Program & Portfolio Management experience
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
  • Financial Services or Banking domain experience
  • Capital Markets experience preferred
  • Experience with Payments or Cash Management initiatives is highly desirable
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams
  • Working knowledge of Jira or similar project management tools
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
  • Strong organizational, planning, budgeting, risk, and issue management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Capital Markets experience
  • Quantitative or Investment domain experience
  • Agile, PMP, Scrum Master, or SAFe certification
  • Experience working within a PMO or Business Technology Office (BTO)
Responsibilities
  • Manage IT and business transformation programs from initiation through delivery
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, development teams, and senior leadership
  • Prepare executive status reports, dashboards, and management presentations
  • Drive program governance and strategic planning
  • Ensure successful delivery of multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams and resolve project issues
