Position Overview:

Mako Professionals is seeking a Project Coordinator to support a large, multi-year project for a client based in downtown Boise, Idaho. This is a full-time, on-site contract position where you will work closely with the Project Management team, playing a key role in organizing and maintaining project documentation, schedules, budgets, and risk logs. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual with experience in Microsoft 365 applications, project management tools, and an interest in supporting large-scale initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Project Manager by maintaining project documentation, schedules, budgets, and risk logs.
  • Take detailed meeting minutes and distribute them to key stakeholders.
  • Assist in facilitating communication between project workstream leads.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities to ensure projects are progressing smoothly.
  • Help maintain and update project schedules in Microsoft Project.
  • Utilize Office 365 applications including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage documentation and communication.
  • Support light facilitation as needed in project meetings.
  • Assist with capacity planning using Smartsheets (optional, can be trained).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project is highly preferred.
  • Smartsheets experience is a plus but not required (training can be provided).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing budgets, schedules, and project risk logs.
  • Must be able to work on-site in downtown Boise, Idaho.
Additional Information:
  • This is an on-site role requiring 5 days a week in the office.
  • There may be flexibility to shift to a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office minimum) after the first month, depending on project needs.
  • Initial contract duration is 12 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
