Job Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple IT projects, ensuring that they meet the defined scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Maintain regular communication with executive-level stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Lead COTS software implementation or in-house software development projects using SDLC methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project, tracking timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with State, Federal, or Local government agencies, and manage projects related to healthcare, Medicaid, or Medicare systems.
  • Provide detailed project reports to the Project Management Office, tracking project performance, risks, budget, and milestones.
  • Adhere to industry-standard project management practices and methodologies while ensuring continuous improvements.
  • Manage project teams, assign roles, and ensure collaboration across different departments and stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and report on project costs, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
  • Managing multiple IT projects with weekly communication and interaction with executive-level stakeholders. Must include the type of interaction, executives' titles (e.g., CIO, CTO), and the frequency of communication.
  • Managing COTS software implementations or in-house application development projects.
  • Experience developing and maintaining project schedules in Microsoft Project.
  • Experience working with State, Federal, or Local government agencies.
  • Managing projects using industry-standard methodologies and reporting into a formal PMO, including project schedule and budget tracking.
  • Working on IT projects within the healthcare industry, specifically related to Medicaid or Medicare systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
