Job Summary:
Our client, a leading provider in travel & hospitality, is looking for an IT Project Manager IV to support their Revenue Management team on a 12+ month contract, hybrid in Chicago (1-2x/week onsite). This role supports FareWorks, a new pricing platform actively being built out. The role involves leading the project independently alongside the development team, managing a multimillion dollar budget, building and maintaining Microsoft Project plans, and reporting status directly to senior leadership. The right candidate has hands-on Microsoft Project experience, real budget management experience at scale, PMP Certification, and strong presentation and executive communication skills. This role requires candidates to provide work samples (Microsoft Project plan, financial budget, PowerPoint status deck) before or during interviews.
Core Responsibilities Lead and manage the project independently alongside the development team
Build and maintain Microsoft Project plans for the FareWorks build
Own budget forecasting, variance analysis, and corrective action on a multimillion dollar budget
Manage resources across the project team
Build and deliver presentations and status reports for senior leadership
Triage issues and risks as they arise
Report daily development activities and project status to leaders and working teams
Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of IT project management experience, including development work and customer interaction
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project
Experience managing multimillion dollar budgets
PMP Certification
Strong presentation and executive communication skills
Able to work independently with minimal oversight
Local to Chicagoland area, able to commute onsite 1-2x/week
Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves) Revenue Management or airline/pricing industry background
Experience with pricing or application development platform builds
Familiarity with FareWorks or similar pricing platforms

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $62.00 and $69.00 . Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
