We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and oversee critical technology initiatives within our organization. Based in McAllen, Texas, this role requires a dynamic individual capable of managing complex projects, coordinating diverse teams, and ensuring deliverables are met within defined timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of technology solutions in the financial services sector.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects while adhering to tight deadlines and budget constraints.
• Coordinate and manage team members and third-party consultants to ensure project goals are achieved.
• Define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and management.
• Communicate project plans, updates, and expectations clearly and effectively to all involved parties.
• Create and maintain detailed project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Monitor project progress, analyze results, and resolve any issues that arise during execution.
• Establish success criteria for projects and ensure they are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential risks or changes in project scope.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, internal policies, and audit controls.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years of experience in IT project management, including two years in a leadership role.
• Banking industry experience is required.
• Project Management certification (PMP) is preferred.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and knowledge of Microsoft OS and Office Suite.
• Familiarity with Jack Henry & Associates core software, Visio, and other relevant technologies.
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and cloud technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with diverse teams and senior management.
