Your role includes overseeing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality results.Role Responsibilities:Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectationsLead and manage software development projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring the successful deployment of applications for core business operations and consumer engagementEnsure projects follow established development methodologies, such as Agile or WaterfallServe as the primary point of contact for business units, engineering teams, and third-party vendorsIdentify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor issues to avoid delays or failuresDeliver projects tailored to banking industry needs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and integration with financial systemsFoster a collaborative environment and support team members in achieving project objectivesIdentify opportunities to improve project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectivenessCompetencies:Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in project management methodologies for IT and software development and mobile applications, including Agile and WaterfallTechnical Acumen: Deep understanding of SDLC processes and software development best practices. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar platformsLeadership & Collaboration: Ability to lead diverse teams and manage cross-functional collaboration effectivelyProblem-Solving & Decision-Making: Analytical mindset to identify risks, resolve challenges, and make data-driven decisionsCommunication Skills: Clear and concise communication, both verbal and written, to convey technical and project details to stakeholdersQualifications:Bachelor’s degree graduateAt least 8 years of experience in managing software development projects in banking and financial service sector (wealth, treasury, trust, cash management, switch, ATM, etc.)Strong communication and presentation skillsKnowledge and exposure on SDLC methodologies and toolsPMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications is an advantageCandidate must be willing to work in Ortigas or Makati
